Michelle Schroeder

Michelle G. Schroeder is a Columbus native and graduate of OSU and founding member of AVLt. Favorite roles include those in then/after/water, Tomorrow is the Question, and Dead City with Available Light. Other credits include Almost, Maine with CATCO, A Study in Art and Lies, A/the PostModernLoveStory, Apocalypso (BlueForms) and A Year with Frog and Toad and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown with the Phoenix Theatre for Children and Picasso at the Lapin Agile and A Piece of My Heart (Warehouse). She thanks her family especially Christopher for their flexibility and love. And all her friends who help out with Eleanor during rehearsal season.

Things to learn and remember about Michelle GS:
Eleanor is the center of the universe. Eleanor is my three and half year old daughter. She has red hair and is smart as a whip. These things combine to make her… you guessed it, the center of the universe.

My dogs are allowed to sleep on the bed, much to my husband Christopher’s dismay. We’ve been married almost 12 years and we have two dogs with a combined weight around 140 – and yes, they sleep on the bed.

Crowded House is still the best band ever and Neil Finn is a music master.

I am too loud to be a ninja and besides pirates get cool hats and pet birds.

I think humor is the best defense. I use it often.

Ian is not my real brother he just plays one on tv. I’ve known him the longest (30 years now, gulp.) But we met when we were 7 so ...
