SHAKESPEARE AUDITION BOOTCAMP
Available Light [theatre] will be leading an audition workshop with an emphasis on classical and Shakespearean monologues. Actors will have the opportunity to hone their monologues right before strutting their stuff at the annual Actors' Theatre auditions.
The workshop, taught by Artistic Director Matt Slaybaugh, and resident actors, Acacia Duncan, and Ian Short, will address not only the basics of any audition, but also the specifics of performing Shakespeare. Through both group and personal coaching, actors will get back into top form, and feel confident walking into the Actors' Theatre (or any other) auditions.
DATE: Saturday, March 3rd (one week before the Actors' Theatre auditions!)
TIME: 1PM - 4PM
Location TBA
COST: $30
Spaces in the workshop will be limited, so sign up now by calling 614-537-7855, emailing inbox@avltheatre.com, or reserving your space with your credit card or Paypal by visiting our ticket window.
